Ragi, also known as finger millet, is a widely grown cereal in the Asian and African countries. With a rich content of iron, calcium, and other important minerals, Ragi has long been tagged as one of the super-foods. What’s even more interesting is that, all the vitamin and mineral components of Ragi increase manifold when it is sprouted.

Moong dal beans are dried, mature mung beans that have been skinned. Naturally low in fat and high in fiber, a 1-cup serving of cooked moong dal has less than 1 gram of total fat, over 14 grams of protein and 15.4 grams of dietary fiber. A 1-cup serving contains 212 calories.

Beets are rich in folate (vitamin B9) which helps cells grow and function. Folate plays a key role in controlling damage to blood vessels, which can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Beets are naturally high in nitrates, which are turned into nitric oxide in the body.
